We do sell many remanufactured parts. If a part is remanufactured, it will state 'remanufactured' or 'reman' in the part's description.
Remanufactured parts are refurbished parts taken off of other vehicles. The appearance of a remanufactured part may vary depending on which cores are available to rebuild at the time. They will fit and function like a new part would, and are often more cost effective. | Cars, Vans, Light & Medium Duty Trucks What do the flags at the top of the catalog and next to the vehicle names mean? 2 Flags indicate where a vehicle was originally sold (US, Canada, Mexico). Un-check boxes to remove vehicles not sold in your area from the list, or check boxes to see a vehicle you imported from elsewhere. If one looks right, use your mouse, or down-arrow then Enter, to choose it. Or press "Enter" on your keyboard or click , to highlight all categories which contain part names matching your entry.

You do not need to select manufacturer or part group, but you can limit results by brand or part type using the drop-down lists (and then click "Search" again). If you're unsure of what a part is called, you can enter keywords to narrow down search results.

If we can accept a return of your old part (called a "core"), you will see a core charge in blue listed next to the price of the part in our catalog.
We cannot accept core returns on parts without a core charge. Cores must be returned within 6 months of the date on which your order was placed. For information about how to return your cores to us, please see "How do I recover my core refund?" You do not have to send your core back; it functions as a deposit providing incentive to return your core to us. We cannot remove this charge from the cost of your part. | | Other Do you have parts for heavy trucks, tractors, snowmobiles, boats or motorcycles? 6 Yes - we can't search them by make and model, but you can use the "Part Number Search" tab if you know the part number. We also list lights, belts, hoses, and other parts in our "Tools & Universal Parts" tab by size.
| Other Do you offer gift certificates? We offer RockAuto gift certificates under the RockAuto Apparel & Gifts section of our tab. To order a gift certificate: - Choose the amount, or make your own with the Custom Amount option.
- Select the certificate format (email or paper) in the drop down box.
- After you have chosen the denomination and format (email or paper), add to the shopping cart.
- Adjust the quantity of gift certificates you wish to purchase. For "Custom Amount" certificates, input the denomination in the "Price" field.

We don't have information about when the part will be back in stock, but if you'd like to be notified, you can sign up for an Availability Alert. Simply enter your email address, and we'll send you an email as soon as we have more in stock! | Availability I don't see the quantity I need - when will you have more in stock? If you see the part you want, but we don't have the quantity you need, we can alert you when we do (though we can't tell you when that will be). Add the part to your shopping cart, click in the "Quantity" box next to the part, and enter the quantity you need. You will be prompted to enter your email address, and we'll send you an email as soon as we have more in stock!
| Availability The part I want isn't listed - when will you have it in stock? If you’ve found the correct year, make, model, and engine size of your vehicle, and the part you're looking for is not listed, we do not have it and don't know where to find it. However, we add parts to the catalog daily and are looking for suppliers of new products, so please check again soon. If you see the part listed, but it is listed as Out of Stock, please see "I see the part I want -- is it in stock?" | Availability Can you send me a paper catalog? Our online catalog is updated daily with new parts, pictures and other details. We do not have a paper catalog (it would be out-of-date before the ink was dry). |
